After being out of school due to winter weather off and on this winter-today is a school day for Chloe-at 6a.m.(before the sun was up)-she came screaming down the hall in fast pursuit of her bobtailed black cat “my cat is chasing something” then in my room she lets out a scream “its a mouse”!!!!! as she jumps on a chair -when the tiny mouse doesn’t move-she goes to look at it-when her cat joins her-she grabs the cat and locks him in her room saying to him  “you are in big trouble”.  She rushes back to the mouse who is on a rug and looks at me and says “grandma he’s still alive help him”.   I told her to carry him in the rug and put him outside.  Finally she did that and let her cat out of her room.  This is before I had coffee and my eyes were still- “shut“‘until the screaming started. Next the bus was late and she decided I could drive her to school because she hasn’t missed a day -there I stand with my hair standing straight up and in my p.j.’s  — suddenly the wonderful sound of the bus-and she hollers as she leaves “It’s the bus Grandma and I love you”-the rest of my day will be boring—so how are you doing???
